BEHIND THE LENS
I have led a truly blessed life. With a career in the Army that began at age 20 as an Air Traffic Controller and ended 12 years later as a Warrant Officer Blackhawk Pilot. Then I taught flight school for H60 pilots in Fort Rucker, AL.
But Alabama didn't just give me my real education, first helicopter flight and first instructor job, it was the birthplace of my first child. A beautiful baby girl and walked away from the professional world to be a mom.
In my spare time (this is where all the moms laugh at "spare time") I taught exercise classes at gyms, to keep my sanity and a little something for myself.
When the opportunity to be truly creative came into my central vision Savannah was 3 and 'lil britches showed up (she's the gorgeous redhead in the photo with me) , boy could she wail! My husband saw that I needed to be creative and get out of the house and bought my first Canon, a few lenses and some online courses for me to do when Lily wasn't crying. Fast forward, Lily is perhaps the most even keeled person in our family.
Where am I from?
Thats a good one. I like to tell people I'm from the United States, a lot of 'em. I have been lucky enough to live in 14 of them and Texas TWICE!

I was an Army brat, an Army soldier myself and then I married a good looking Army guy, so moving is my life!
Bottom line is, I believe that anyone truly can do anything, just maybe not all at the same time!
How I shoot
The less we stand still during a shoot, the better. As a matter of fact, I just don't sit still; I'm standing up typing this bio!
Takeaway
Life is a gift to be admired and revered. Never take that for granted. If I can capture one of those moments for you; well that's a privelage.
I appreciate tech, heck I did fly helicopters but our world uses it a lot so I'm asking you to hit the call button to book me because I'd rather hear your voice, and I bet there's a lot less confusion come time for the shoot!
